Easyjet has quadrupled its over-60s cabin crew since launching a recruitment drive
The airline has also seen its crew members over 50 double in number since the 2022 scheme began. Experts at the Centre for Ageing Better calculate that keeping older adults in work could boost the economy by at least £9bn every year. This demographic shift is accelerating, with half of all workers across Western Europe expected to be over 50 by 2030.
