Doubles star Jamie Murray retires at age 40
After a 22-year career, professional tennis will no longer feature British doubles legend Jamie Murray. Andy Murray's elder brother announced his retirement yesterday at 40, having not played since last August’s US Open. He won 34 doubles titles, including seven Grand Slams, and was the first British player to reach world No 1 in doubles.
