The target sits just outside the country's severely damaged Natanz uranium processing plant. The American president warned journalists on Friday that US forces could launch an attack on the area at almost any moment. Any incoming weapons would need to break into a heavily protected mountain site that houses a pair of deep underground tunnel networks.
