Dolly Parton told Julia Roberts to stop complaining on film set

The singer, who died on Tuesday, shared a crucial piece of advice with Roberts during filming for the 1989 movie Steel Magnolias. Roberts recalled complaining about the heat in Louisiana when Parton, in a wig and wool, told her she wouldn't complain about being rich and famous. The actress said she has never forgotten Parton's words.
