Djokovic's US Open loss raises doubts about his future

Novak Djokovic, aged 39, suffered his earliest Grand Slam exit in 20 years on Sunday night, losing in the first round of the US Open. He was beaten in five sets by Argentina's Mariano Navone, vomiting and cramping during the four-hour, 36-minute match. Following this loss, Djokovic is set to exit the world's top 10 rankings, a position he has held continuously since July 2018.
