Disney has made a deal with TikTok to let creators use its characters and scenes in short videos. The agreement is a first-of-its-kind, acknowledging the influence of fan-made content in entertainment. Some of these videos will also appear on Disney's own vertical video platform, Disney+ Verts, which is currently only available in the US.
