Dettol pulls 'toxic men' ad after China anger

The advert compared 'toxic men' to bacteria, sparking widespread anger and calls for a boycott across Chinese social media. British hygiene brand Dettol removed the five-minute micro drama on Monday, saying snippets online distorted its message. The company apologised for offending people, especially women, and will review its content moderation processes.
