Deliveroo's pavement robots roll into Canary Wharf

Deliveroo's pavement robots roll into Canary Wharf

Deliveroo will start its first UK robot deliveries in London's Canary Wharf this month, then pilot Milton Keynes, Leeds, Stockton-on-Tees and Nottingham. The firm partnered with Coco Robotics for walking-pace electric bots using sensors, cameras and artificial intelligence. Early merchants include Patty and Bun and Signorelli. Deliveroo says most orders will still use human riders. BlindSquare will also receive pavement hazard data from the robots.
