Danish schools fight AI cheating with oral exams

Danish teenagers will now have to defend their written essays orally to combat the growing problem of AI cheating. The country's education minister, Magnus Heunicke, demanded urgent action, with new rules starting immediately for pupils aged 16 to 19. Schools are also being asked to encourage more written work under controlled conditions, including monitoring computer screens.
