Couple Found Dead in Bed Together With Positive Pregnancy Test Nearby After Drug Overdose
On 21 February in Barnsley, Mark Martin Sinton, 42, and Claire White, 32, were discovered deceased at home by Sinton’s mother. The pair, who shared four children and a 17-year relationship, were found unclothed on the floor. Authorities located drug-related items and a positive pregnancy test nearby. An inquest determined the cause of death as combined heroin, cocaine, and methadone toxicity. Records indicated both individuals previously used intravenous drugs.
