Common painkillers like ibuprofen can increase sunburn risk

Britain's health watchdog has warned that common painkillers, including ibuprofen and naproxen, could make you more sensitive to the sun. On Friday, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) announced these drugs, certain antibiotics, and acne treatments could increase burn likelihood. Dr Alison Cave, the MHRA's chief safety officer, advised people to stay hydrated and use sunscreen.
