Claude will add hidden watermarks to all its generated content

AI models from Anthropic, the company behind Claude, will now embed invisible watermarks into all text and attach signed metadata to files it creates. Anthropic's alteration follows its endorsement of the EU AI Act's "Code of Practice on Transparency of AI-Generated Content." The marks will apply worldwide to all supported Claude models and products, helping users identify AI-processed content.
