Chloe Lawlor finds new planet Wispit 2C
Understanding how planets form helps scientists learn about our own solar system's origins. University of Galway student Chloe Lawlor found a new planet, Wispit 2C, orbiting an infant star 437 light years away. This gas giant, likely ten times Jupiter's mass, is the second forming planet found in the Wispit 2 system.
