Chelsea complete record Rogers deal, Arsenal seek alternatives

Chelsea completed a British record £117 million deal for England forward Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa on Tuesday, beating London rivals Arsenal to his signature. Arsenal had prioritised Rogers to bolster their attack but were unwilling to match Villa's asking price. The Premier League champions have been forced to pivot and consider other targets, including Yan Diomande and Bradley Barcola.
