ChatGPT advert revenues reach a $1 billion annual pace for maker OpenAI

The tech firm is expanding its advertising tools across Europe and India to drive growth ahead of a planned stock market launch. Smaller companies make up a large chunk of the spending, paying to show promotions to users on the free and cheaper ChatGPT plans. The American pilot began earlier this year and reached a $100 million pace within six weeks.
