ChatGPT added to tougher EU online safety rules
ChatGPT is the first AI chatbot added to the EU's list of digital services facing greater legal scrutiny. The European Commission said on Monday that OpenAI's chatbot, along with Reddit and Roblox, must remove illegal content and assess systemic risks. These platforms have four months to comply with the Digital Services Act, a content law for services with over 45 million monthly users.
