CEO fired after Zoom layoffs wants job back

Vishal Garg, who dismissed 900 staff during a 2021 Zoom meeting, was fired from Better.com on August 3. He alleges Daniel Lewis, a hedge fund manager, "hoodwinked" him into being replaced as interim CEO. Garg has sent correspondence to the board, insisting on his reinstatement and proposing to work for $1 annually.
