Cash ISA allowance cut to £12,000 next April for under-65s

Savers are warned to prepare for major cash ISA changes coming into force next April. The yearly tax-exempt cash ISA allowance for working-age households under 65 is set to decrease from £20,000 to £12,000. People affected with more than £10,000 in ISAs can put the remaining £8,000 in stocks and shares, but interest will be taxed.
