Can America cut off every Iranian airline by Wednesday?
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told CNBC on Monday that all Iranian airlines will be shut out worldwide from Wednesday. Firms that refuel them, provide landing services or sell their tickets risk being cut off from the dollar system, he warned. Iraqi officials said Baghdad would halt Iranian flights from Tuesday, Georgia barred Iranian carriers and Mahan Air suspended Turkey flights at Ankara's request.
