Business minister to meet JLR CEO over 4,000 job cuts

Britain's business minister Jonathan Reynolds will meet Jaguar Land Rover's chief executive PB Balaji this week to discuss planned job cuts. The carmaker, owned by Tata Motors, is initiating a voluntary redundancy scheme for its salaried and management employees. JLR aims to save about £1.7 billion over two years after falling sales, a cyber-attack, and US tariffs hit profits.
