Britons pick UK trips over flight fears

Summer holiday plans are changing as more people avoid overseas trips because of worries about cancelled flights and higher travel costs. Holiday firms said bookings for UK breaks are rising as the Iran conflict affects aviation and fuel supplies. Lovat reported reservations up by 30%, while analysts expect the UK holiday market to grow by 7% in 2026.
