British girl, 4, drowns in Lanzarote hotel pool

This tragic incident happened at a hotel in the popular Playa Blanca resort on Saturday afternoon. Emergency services, including an ambulance and helicopter, rushed to the scene after the girl was pulled from the water. Despite resuscitation attempts by medical staff, the four-year-old was pronounced dead at the hotel.
