British armed forces jammed other nations' satellites for a year to deter threats
For the past year, the UK armed forces have been interfering with or obstructing the satellite signals of other nations to defend against hostile threats. A defence source said the ground-based system has already been used to deter adversaries, preventing them from tracking UK nuclear submarines. The Ministry of Defence also created a new RAF unit to defend British satellites from increasing threats in space.
