Barclays Says UK Must Win Back Investors

In a report published on 2 June, the bank said the country had lost control of how it is viewed internationally and called for policy changes. The UK hosted more than £12 trillion in overseas capital in 2025, yet Barclays said that total could have been £2.5 trillion higher.
