Barbie sequel stalls as contract talks hit a dead end

Warner Bros needs to lock down deals with the main stars and director by December before film rights return to Mattel. Ryan Gosling wants about $20m to reprise his role as Ken, while Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig are also yet to agree terms. The original comedy made about $1.5bn globally, but studio bosses say they haven't been able to reach an agreement so far.
