Badenoch calls Starmer's denial 'preposterous' in resignation attack
Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch called it 'preposterous' that Starmer did not know Mandelson had failed security vetting. 'If the Prime Minister doesn't know what's happening in his own office, he shouldn't be in charge of our country. He should go,' she said. Lib Dem leader Ed Davey said Starmer should have told Parliament 'at the earliest opportunity.' Reform and the Greens have also called on Starmer to resign.
