Peer calls for inquiry into Arday media coverage

Lord Woolley, Homerton's principal, called for an inquiry into media coverage of Jason Arday, who died on Friday, calling it a vicious onslaught. Arday, 41, had resigned his post earlier after the Telegraph alleged similarities between his thesis and another student's work, a claim a prior Liverpool John Moores inquiry cleared him of. The PM called the death a tragedy and urged reflection over judgement.
