Aston Martin to cut 600 jobs as losses jump 52 percent

Aston Martin has announced it will reduce its workforce of around 3,000 by up to 20%, equating to roughly 600 job losses, citing US import tariffs and weak demand in China. The cuts, which include a 5% reduction announced last year, are expected to deliver annual savings of around £40 million. The carmaker posted a net loss of £493.2 million in 2025, up 52% on the prior year. Revenue dropped 21% to £1.258 billion as car sales fell 10% to 5,448 vehicles.
