Asda raises diesel prices faster than any other major supermarket

Asda has pushed up diesel prices by nearly 60p a litre since February, outpacing all other major supermarkets. The jump is tied to the Iran war pushing Brent crude oil past $103 a barrel, driving average pump prices close to £2. Diesel at Asda hit 196.9p per litre by Tuesday morning, though it remains slightly below the national average.
