Ariana Grande leaves West End role and plans break from public life

Ariana Grande will step back from public-facing work after wrapping her Eternal Sunshine Tour on September 1. The 33-year-old singer pulled out of her upcoming starring role in Sunday in the Park with George at the Barbican due to continuous public commentary regarding her appearance. Empire Street Productions, the company staging the musical, confirmed her part will be recast for the summer 2027 run.
