Araghchi Arrives in Islamabad Amid Mixed Signals on Talks

Iran's foreign minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Islamabad on Friday to discuss proposals for resuming peace talks with the US. Iran denies any direct meeting with US officials is planned. However, the White House confirmed special envoy Steve Witkoff and senior adviser Jared Kushner would leave for Pakistan on Saturday morning to engage with Iranian counterparts.
