Apple told Grok to fix deepfakes or leave App Store
Users of Elon Musk's Grok app nearly saw it removed from the App Store because of issues with sexualised AI deepfakes. Apple reportedly found Grok violated guidelines, leading to behind-the-scenes engagement with xAI and initial rejection of submitted fixes. The app was eventually approved after xAI made further revisions to improve its content moderation systems.
