Apple plans user-replaceable Pencil batteries by 2027 for EU rules.

Apple might release new Apple Pencil models with user-replaceable batteries in early 2027 to meet new EU rules. The European Union decided in 2023 that all consumer electronics must have easily replaceable batteries by 2027. Apple Pencil could see big design changes, as it is currently very hard to repair.
