Apple fights UK order demanding access to encrypted user data

Apple is challenging a British government demand for a backdoor into encrypted iCloud storage. The tech firm filed its complaint at the Investigatory Powers Tribunal after a previous notice targeting US users was dropped last year. Campaign groups including Privacy International and Liberty welcomed the legal move.
