Apple briefly hits $5 trillion market value on Tuesday
Apple's market value exceeded $5 trillion for a short period on Tuesday, becoming just the second company in history to achieve that feat. The iPhone manufacturer's shares climbed by up to 1.8%, reaching $342.89, which increased its market capitalisation to $5.036 trillion. Apple overtook Nvidia on Monday, thereby becoming the company with the highest market value globally.
