Anthropic AI researcher warns of over 10% chance AI could wipe out humanity

A top safety researcher at AI firm Anthropic believes there is over a 10% chance AI could wipe out humanity within ten years. Evan Hubinger, who works on AI alignment, said his company lacks a plan to solve superintelligence alignment. Another former Anthropic researcher, Jacob Coxon, quit over fears firms are "gambling with our lives."
