Andy Burnham drops plan for Waspi payouts
Women affected by state pension age changes are less likely to receive money after a shift in position from a Labour leadership contender. On Thursday, Andy Burnham said he no longer backed financial payments, though he remained willing to consider other forms of help following criticism over potential costs.
