Analysis Suggests Over 700,000 Graduates Out of Work
A recent analysis by the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) indicates that over 700,000 graduates in the UK are currently out of work and claiming welfare benefits. The CSJ reported that 400,000 of these graduates are claiming Universal Credit. Almost 240,000 individuals stated they are unable to work due to health reasons, a figure that has more than doubled since 2019. The data was collected using the Office for National Statistics' Labour Force Survey in combination with data from the Department for Work and Pensions.
