Amber heat health alerts hit almost all England until Friday

Most of England is under amber heat health alerts from Tuesday until Friday evening as temperatures are set to reach the mid-30s Celsius. The UKHSA, Britain's health security agency, warns significant impacts including more deaths are likely across health and social care. Temperatures could reach an extreme 36C in areas of the Midlands, eastern, and south-east England by Thursday and Friday.
