All US bombers are gone from Fairford

The United States confirmed on Sunday that every bomber at RAF Fairford had returned to America. It gave no reason. The move follows a 27 September alert over three vehicles near the Gloucestershire base. Five London men and a dual UK-Iranian man were arrested on terror suspicions and bailed. Whitehall sources have not disputed that Washington acted because of the incident. Tehran denies any role.
