Air India crash widower loses UK right to stay

The way dependent visas work in Britain has left one grieving man facing a deadline tomorrow. Mohammadmiya Sethwala, 28, lost his wife Sadiqa and two-year-old daughter Fatima in the Air India Flight AI-171 crash last June, and because his UK visa was tied to hers, his right to stay fell away after her death. The Home Office rejected his application on 9 April and his solicitor is fighting the order in court.
