AI expert Ray Kurzweil joins startup snorting nanoparticles into brains

Ray Kurzweil, a leading AI scientist, has joined Subsense, a Silicon Valley startup aiming to merge smartphones with the brain. The company is developing a non-surgical technique for introducing computers into the brain, which involves snorting nanoparticles. Subsense, which has raised $27 million, is currently doing preclinical work and hopes to eventually make this a consumer product.
