An experimental drug called rentosertib, designed with AI, showed signs of slowing the aging process in a phase 2a trial. Researchers used six 'aging clocks' on blood samples from 42 patients, average age about 67, over 12 weeks. Patients receiving a daily 60mg dose experienced a reduction of approximately 2.7 to 3.5 years across four chronological-age clocks.
