AI and viruses are fighting superbugs by targeting bacteria precisely

Scientists are using rapidly advancing AI and bacteriophages, which are viral, to help find and destroy drug-resistant bacteria. Deep learning algorithms significantly improve how accurately these phages can interact with their bacterial hosts. While the technology is new, AI can design custom phages and decode their genomes to predict how they will interact with bacteria.
