Accounting giant PwC published four reports filled with AI-generated fake claims
Software firm GPTZero uncovered the errors inside documents the company's Middle East branch released from 2024 to 2026. Investigators found one governance study was almost entirely written by artificial intelligence, making up claims that governments in Denmark and Australia used a specific PwC product. The financial firm says it is now fixing the references and expects staff to follow its strict quality rules.
