Accenture shares rise more than 22% as the firm beats revenue targets
The New York-listed company reported fourth-quarter revenues of about £14.1 billion, easing fears that artificial intelligence is hurting the industry. Chief executive Julie Sweet announced the results on Thursday, pointing out that their core advisory business actually grew by six per cent. The business now expects more growth next year and plans to give back at least £7.2 billion to its investors.
