FIFA sacks chief operating officer after Infantino plan criticism

Kevin Lamour, FIFA's chief operating officer, was sacked on Monday, less than three weeks after he criticised president Gianni Infantino's abandoned plan. Lamour had described the FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE) project as belonging to "one person" and claimed the administration had been "deceived". He joined FIFA in November 2024 and previously worked at UEFA as deputy general secretary.
