Wiltshire records bluetongue cases as UK vaccine shortage hits farmers

Wiltshire has confirmed two bluetongue cases, a virus deadly to livestock, pushing the total across the UK to 630 since July. Vets in Chippenham are "struggling to get hold of vaccines" for the insect-borne disease, with no deliveries for two weeks. Manufacturers are collaborating with the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) to boost vaccine availability.
