Chinese robot runs 100m in 9.32 seconds, beating Usain Bolt's record

A humanoid robot called Lightning, developed by smartphone maker Honor, ran 100 metres in 9.32 seconds, breaking Usain Bolt's human world record. Lightning's run occurred at a trial event for the second World Humanoid Robot Games, a competition that commenced on Saturday in Beijing. Lightning also won the Beijing half marathon earlier in April, beating the elite men's human record pace.
