NATO jets scrambled from Poland, Romania as Russia attacks Kyiv

NATO fighter jets took off after Russia's heavy missile and drone attacks on Kyiv killed at least 12 people and injured dozens. Spanish F-18s and a Romanian helicopter responded to a suspected Russian drone crash in Romania, near the border. Poland's armed forces said their operations were preventative to secure airspace near the threatened areas.
